💫 Welcome

Happy Friday, you have made it through the week and now you can relax and look forward to chilling and reading this weekend. I just finished Dead Ringer by Nicola Martin last night. I had to come on today and just scream to the world to read this book. It is genius and it could slot right into multiple genres from Psychological thriller to Young Adult. My full review will be up next week but I am thinking to myself, have I already read in my book of the year in January?

The Kindle version is only 98p for a short period. I can’t recommend it enough.

💫Back of the Book

The idea is simple, vain, exciting. Tap the app, upload a picture of yourself, find your lookalike. Set up a meeting to see whether you have anything else in common.

When Ella and Jem meet, the physical resemblance is uncanny, but their lives couldn’t be more different. One is from a tiny island in a deprived Northern community – pretty much the back of beyond – where she has no job, no boyfriend, limited prospects. The other is a London socialite, an aspiring actress living in a multimillion-pound mansion. By all appearances, she’s living a charmed life, but she’s got some serious shit to run away from.

Both of them have.

Can either hide in her double’s skin? And at what cost? Will it solve any of the problems, or merely compound them? This is an all-too-believable, twisty, compelling story that will leave you reeling.

💫 Final Thoughts

I haven’t read anything so fast paced and clever in a long time. Snap it up today and please connect with me after you have read it. Because I know, like me the minute you finish the last page you will want to talk about it.

Happy reading,

Kelly
