The ‘I should have read that book’ tag #BookTag #BookBlogger #Books #ThursdayBookBlog

This is my first ever book tag feature on the blog. I was inspired by Book Nests post. I have tagged some of my favourite bloggers at the end of this post. Do give them all a follow, they are all true book lovers with super reviews.

We’ve all had the thought of, I really should have read that book that everyone keeps recommending me, but we still haven’t picked it up. Inspired by the amount of books I am asked if I have read and I have to say no, introducing the ‘I should have read that book’ tag!

My Answers

A book that a certain friend is always telling you to read

Joanne from Portobello Book Blog always tells me that John Boynes Heart of Invisible Furies is her favourite book and I have it on my shelf. It calls to me to read it, I hope I get to read it this year.

A book that’s been on your TBR forever and yet you still haven’t picked it up

His Dark Materials by Phillip Pullman. I saw him at the Edinburgh Book Festival and I bought the entire collection. But again the lack of time has meant the books waiting patiently. However, I do think there are times when you are meant to read specific books.

A book in a series you’ve started, but haven’t gotten round to finishing yet

The Gender Game by Bella Forrest, I loved book one and I started the second on audio-book an age ago so I will need to re listen. But it is a seven book series so you have to be dedicated. Which I am but it will take a while.

Little Women

A popular book that it seems everyone but you has read

Anything by Jane Austin.

A book that inspired a film/TV adaptation that you really love, but you just haven’t read it yet

The Chronicles of Narnia, I grew up watching a VHS that my Nana, gave me. YouTube link below it is the actual one! OMG, this is so cool. However, I do have the book series waiting to be read.

A book you see all over Instagram but haven’t picked up yet

It was The Flat Share by Beth O’Leary but I just got it for my Easter.

  1. Great book tag … but I’m tearing my hair out! 😀 You haven’t read Little Women?! Nor The Chronicles of Narnia?! Seriously, amazing books and ones that will never leave you! 😀
