Welcome to Love Books Group Tracey, thank you so much for taking part in our Favourite Five feature. Angel Falls Vol 3 is out now in paperback.
It isn’t easy to surprise Cassandra Bick. When you run a human-vampire dating agency, your colleague is a witch who is engaged to a shifter and your business partner is one of London’s most powerful (and sexiest) vampires, there’s no such thing as a normal day at the office. But when a mysterious Dark Dates client brings a dire warning of a new threat to the city’s supernatural community, Cass and her friends realise they are up against their deadliest foe yet – and that this time, the danger is far closer to home

- What’s your favourite book cover by another author and why?
There are so many amazing covers out there it would be impossible to choose! Plus, I love books that have been made with real care in the design, including the paper quality, font, etc. I’m a sucker for a nice hardback. One book I remember buying just because I liked the cover was a hardback of Angela Carter’s Wise Children – which turned out to be one of my favourite books, so that was good!
- What is your favourite time to read?
I read all the time, but my ultimate luxury is having a whole afternoon to read a book from start to finish.
- Do you have a favourite snack to nibble whilst reading?
If I’m out an about, coffee and cake or a glass of wine is a nice accompaniment. I love reading in cafes, when you get to people watch as well.
- Who is your favourite book character that has stayed with you long after the book ended?
Not my favourite character – I have too many to list – but I found myself haunted by Patroclus in Song of Achilles (Madeline Miller), which was just a gorgeous, heart-breaking love story.
- What is your favourite book quote?
“Evil begins when you begin to treat people as things” -Terry Pratchett
